Wow, the only PC laptop I like is being recalled. Before I got my MacBook, the Vaio was the only PC I was considering buying.
Try a Thinkpad T-series. Best-built for the money, with user-replaceable parts (try finding that on most machines today), and a keyboard that puts all others to shame.

most TVs don't include an audio in port for the HDMI.
you can use something like
this (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011405&p_id=5369&seq=1&format=2) - a dvi and digital audio combiner, that outputs HDMI.
and one of these (http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10229&cs_id=1022902) toslink to mini cable to connect audio from your computer to the box.
and one of these (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10209&cs_id=1020901&p_id=2685&seq=1&format=2) dvi cables to connect your computer to the box.
you'll also need an HDMI male to male, to plug the box into your TV.
also look at your TV manual, or if you're using an external stereo that has digital inputs. the toslink to mini cable might come in handy.

We did something like this one (http://www.trafalgar.com/european-heritage-2011) back in 1990, although it has changed somewhat. It was great, except for the up-at-the-crack-of-dawn, get breakfast, and on-the-bus shite.

I would love, love, LOVE to help. But I'm so time-strapped right now I'm not even keeping up with Nintendo Players adequately. Part-time IT job + student = suckage.
Quit your whining... I did full time work and full time school! I took 9 classes (1 independent, 4 online, 4 in class) one quarter to boot! :P
Jimmi, I'd volunteer but I've got to study for an exit exam in May that I didn't pass because of what I said in the previous paragraph. :P Plus I have this pesky full time job. :P

After about 10yrs i finally pulled our old SE out of the closet hoping someone has a solution to my problem! As soon as it boots up it goes right to the screen saver and it asks for a password and noone has a clue what it is how can i get this fixed?? I dont want to format it cause then i might as well throw it then. I want all the games i had on it. Can anyone help me save this thing????

I got my iphone 4 last October and now with normal every-day usage the battery is almost dead half way through the day. Do I need to calibrate the battery? If I do how would I go about doing that?

2. Delete MACDefender from the Applications folder.
3. Check System Preferences → Accounts → Login Items for MAC Defender entry.
4. Run a Spotlight search for "MACDefender" to check for any associated files and remove them if exist. Use this method to fully delete the trojan. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=11171082&postcount=16)
