I have been a PC user for basicly my entire life, but I have never exactly been happy with it. The thing would crash, have the BSoD, but that is not really why i switched.
Basicly I got tired of the Windows Operating System, Bill Gates, and the millions of PC Viruses. I needed a notebook for college in the fall, and I picked up a 17" PowerBook G4 because it suites all of my needs and it replaces the need for a desktop for quite some time. I have enjoyedm first week as a Mac User because everything has worked so well, and I am actually used to all of the windows opened at the same time now! (I never understood before untill I actually spent hours upon hours with the thing)
I have now become addicted to iTunes and have puchased 68 songs in my first week. :D Another reason why I wanted the Mac is because of Final Cut Pro. I love watching and making movies so I felt that the Mac would be the best thing for me... The last movie I made was on my Pentium 4 box and I nearly threw it out of the window because it was so evil... Hopefully the Mac is more kind. I have not started to edit video on my Mac yet, but that is because I have not had the time.
I like my "little" 17" PowerBook because it works great and everyone I have shown it off to has been really amazed by it. :cool:

Googles translation of what I think you all are talking about:
I met many people yesterday, and I listened much.
although nothing still is official, it seems that APPLE is directed towards AMD to replace G4.
One spoke again me of Jaguar under X86.
In any event it seems that APPLE is directed towards a solution preventing any possibility of installing Mac OS X on a PC.
(I don't know French :o)
From that I get no new information, just more pondering. The last line gives me the impression that the writer does not believe that Apple is going to go toward the x86 platform for OSX.
Anyway, did not Steve say himself that there will be faster versions of the current models next year? and that the G4 still has alot of life? His comments certainly don't point towards x86 in Apple systems, at least not for along time to come.
I think we should let this subject die for awhile (like the Apple PDA rumors) and wait for more tangible proof and/or information concerning the x86/Marklar rumor.
How about someone get a screenshot of "about this mac" with Athlon instead of G4 in it? Or maybe something less easily photoshopped, like a motherboard with Socket A connections and an Apple logo next to it ;).
Lately my stomach has been making funny noises when ever 'marklar' related info is talked about... I guess I'll go to Costco and get some Pepto-Bismol so I can keep reading :D.

OMG what is hard to understand? Either a new book bag or a case. I don't want another freaking messenger bag. I already have that (as I stated in the first post and re-iterated in my first reply).
Seriously people, I appreciate the help but read before you rush to hit the reply button. Even if you completely ignore my repeated comments that I don't want another messenger bag (either a BOOK bag or CASE), you're suggesting a bag for the 11" MBA when I said in the title I have a 13". Why not just tell me what kind of car you drive instead, it's about an equally worthless piece of information (in regards to this thread).
Matt this is for all the people that read your post. See attached Case...

Hello I just picked up a Mac Mini server 2.53 Ghz.
To good a deal, server with 2 years applecare left, wireless keyboard and magic mouse, all for $400
I already have an iMac, 2 windows PC's, apple TV iOS
Should I just install Normal snow leopard on it? are they any real advantages of the server OS? any draw backs?
So far it it feels different, Could I put windows on one drive an SL on the Other. Windows and snow leopard server.
This was a buy and ask questions later purchase and any help or Ideas would be great.

Hi all,
Can anyone give me your personal thoughts on the 20" iMac?
Hi,
the iMac 20" is a powerful machine, with a nice design. Comfortable RAM (1Gb or above) is a must. My only comment: it can be kinda noisy because of the fans (and not only the faulty 1st revision), which is some time annoying because it's in front of you, on the desk (instead of under the table, obviously).

Somehow its just doesn't sound like a good name for a laptop. Maybe the whole "There's something in the air" is relevant to the [insert feeling here] there is going to be after a new product(s) is/are presented. My thoughts only.Im still anxious to see what EL Jobso has for us fanboys!

you could try:
div.searchdiv{
height:100%;
}
but i have never tried that before (also 100% is relative to the container aka a div)

If you have dreamweaver, you can try using their library functions. It allows you linked any tables, texts, layers to a library item so when you update that library item, every page that uses that item gets updated. Same goes for their template.
I thought about doing that, but using libraries would require me to upload all pages affected every time I update the library functions, correct? If that's the case I was hoping for something less time intensive, due to there being many pages. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Dunno what OS you have, but I will assume up-to-date on everything. Click airport signal thingy on top right, and click "use interference robustness" or whatever it's called. Then try.
What does that do anyways? :confused: Should I have it checked?

Also IIRC Cisco's iOS lets you save and load config files directly. I do not remember the exact syntax but try built-in help...

Seems it may be a hoax (http://www.allfacebook.com/chipotles-facebook-page-consumed-by-cat-controversy-2010-12), perpetrated by parties unknown?
We at Chipotle respect all animals and would not joke about something like that
Presumably that respect does not extend to the animals they grind up for their big burritos. :D

I know it can be done so do not post saying it's impossible, there are adapters that allow you to and ones to play it connecting it to your MBP then to the apple display, but how could I do that? What adapters would I need and how steep of a price am I looking at?

superfluous "design" elements make it look needlessly bulky, completely negating the original design's desire to be as minimal and unobtrusive as possible.

Excellent news! I think we can infer from this that Apple has nothing more then a skeleton crew working on 4.x at this point. I am sure all resources are hard at work on 5.x .
Cant blame them, they probably got more important things to focus on than patching jailbreaks.
Hope they become more lenient on JB in general.
